Squaring the square

This "puzzle" where squares of order 1 to n has to be integrated in a larger square of edge length m is a really difficult task. It is not possible to integrate all smaller squares in the larger one. There will be allways some open white space which could not be filled with squares. This simple geometrical problem result in a new "rest function" for squares in a square.

The minimum rest function is a numerical series which is now available in the On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences as series number A295130.

Notes Out of this "gadgetry" with squares in a square was a new sequence born.
