The Rubik Cube - the magic cube - still enchants interested players even
after 50 years.
There are various solution algorithms available that can put a twisted cube back to its origin. The gamer are enthusiastic about "speed cubing" - that is, turning the cube back in a minimum of time. The current record is 3.47 seconds - simply unbelievable. Another question should be brought to a - hopefully correct - solution. How many options are there for the representation of squares and rectangles on the cube? |
